My website V1 — case study

Role: Design and development. Year: 2018.

Website: v1.leicaflorianrobert.dev

The first version of my website: a Vue single page application, with a logo that draws itself and sections that slide sideways. Today it's online as an archive.

You are viewing this case study with the Legacy engine. To see it as it was designed, enable native rendering below.

A fully animated site

I wanted a site people would remember. On opening, the background fills with colour at every click, the logo draws itself, stroke by stroke, and the initials L F R stretch into the full name.

Then, turning the scroll wheel, the four sections slide horizontally: about me, services, skills and projects, contact.

Static files only

  • A Vue single page application with TypeScript, with no server and no database.
  • Animations with anime.js, AOS and vanilla-tilt, and swiping on the phone.
  • The contact form sends emails with EmailJS, straight from the browser.
  • In 2026 the build moved from Vue CLI to Vite, to keep it online as an archive.
